- Prepare monthly credit card journal entries for the Company and employees.
- Map transactions to proper general ledger accounts and departments.
- Reconcile balances and upload Netsuite journal entries.
- Prepare weekly and monthly cash journal entries.
- Reconcile general ledger balances to the bank balance monthly.
- Assist in month-end close cash and related tasks.
- Prepare and update procedure documentation and journal entries.
- Prepare data and respond to ad-hoc information requests.
- Provide explanations for account fluctuations and investigate their causes.
- Fundamental understanding of key accounting concepts:
- Accounting equation, debits and credits, financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, statement of cash flows).
- Proficiency in Excel:
- Advanced formulas (lookup, index match, pivot table).
- Comfortable with large data sets.
- General ledger accounting experience and/or financial statement audit experience.
- Degree in Business Administration or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
